Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)
Everything is started digitally, using Silhouette Studio. This part can take some time. (If you are customizing a project, this is the step where your input will be needed most!)
Once the "digital draft" is complete, I am ready to go to my Silhouette Cameo and start cutting. You'd be surprised how many pieces go into some projects!
After everything is cut, the fun begins! Inking, distressing, embossing, embellishments, personal photos, AI generators, clipart - they all help bring my project to life! I am not a digital artist - but my daughter is! (You can see some of her creations on this site). She's an awesome artist and I hope to incorporate her work whenever she lets me.
So so so many things. If you really need a detailed list, I can supply it - but in a nutshell:
Paper: Cardstock- of various weights, tons of colors, Metallic, Glitter, Shimmer, Lightweight patterned paper, Vellum, Watercolor paper, Acetate, Heat Acetate, Foil, Felt, Scratch and reveal and more specialty papers.
Adhesives: all types of glue, foam tape, double sided tape, adhesive spray, glue dots, Velcro with adhesive, Magnets, etc.
Powders: Embossing/Glaze
Ink: Distress/Distress Oxide Inks (I LOVE Tim Holtz!), other various Pigment/ Dye/Solvent/Alcohol and Printer Inks. (For Sublimation products: Sublimation Ink)
Pastes: Multiple types of texture pastes
Embellishments: ALL types! Mostly paper (i.e. print and cut, premade, embossing, debossing, completely custom and more! so many things!), sometimes metal (i.e. hinges, rivets) or plastic (i.e. special mechanisms). They can be a simple border to a detailed 3D flower. So many things can be used!!
